Glycolic Acid Peel

A glycolic acid (fruit acid) peel is a simple and effective treatment to rejuvenate your skin. In addition to giving your skin a new glow, glycolic acid treatments even out your skin tone and unclog pores. The glycolic acid exfoliates the dead skin layer on your face leaving you with a healthier, fresher look.

Glycolic acid peels can be used on any kind of skin including the most sensitive skin types. The buffered acid we use tingles as it works to remove unwanted dead cells. It does not irritate or burn, and like microdermabrasion, you may apply makeup after treatment.

It is recommended that a series of glycolic acid treatments be performed weekly to monthly to give you an exceptional result. Glycolic acid peels used in conjunction with microdermabrasion and doctor-recommended skin care products will improve your results.

Micodermabrasion

Microdermabrasion is the latest alternative to laser resurfacing and chemical peels. This closed-vacuum system of fine crystals are blown onto your skin, exfoliating the dead skin layer and damaged cells. Your skin will feel smooth and look healthy and rejuvenated. Microdermabrasion is not painful and does not require pre-treatment or a topical anesthetic.

The advantage of microdermabrasion is that you do not have any down time as you do with laser or chemical peels. You may have a microdermabrasion treatment on your lunch break and return to work thereafter. Microdermabrasion has been proven to be more beneficial than a salon facial. After treatment you may apply makeup and continue with your day.

Microdermabrasion has been very effective on fine lines, scars, stretch marks, clogged pores, and active acne. It is recommended that treatments be done weekly to monthly depending upon your skin and desired outcome. If used in conjunction with glycolic acid peels and doctor-recommended skin care products, your results will be fabulous. Our physicians will assess your condition and determine your course of treatment.
